Climbed a mountain with my children today.

One week ago, I stood on a stage in New York City.

Same journey.

At what point do we hand in our dreams?
And who are we handing them to?

Grateful for everyone who came out to The Delancey.
That room meant something to me.

NYC… we’re coming back in June. Bigger. @shrineharlem with @lucasletodrums building sound around FREAKWHENSEE dm me MEGABAND for more info

Until then—
keep climbing.
keep building.
keep choosing love over fear.

Peace, love, and light.

A week later and we’re still vibing off of our last #GoodVibesCafe at @newdesignhigh! Big ups to our special guest @abillifree for shining your light and sharing the love with our entire 11th grade…especially the crew of college essay slammers who you worked with during a special performance workshop the day before! Another huge thanks goes out to team ReEd @farbeon @loushiesty @bxelemental and @samsellersmusic…and of course @sparkcampuslibrary for always holding it down no doubt! Next up is our annual #WomenInHipHop panel and performance later this month. Stay-tuned for more details! #NMtoNY #RockTheCipher #RepTheCode Say word!

Yesterday’s #GoodVibesCafe at @newdesignhigh was the perfect kick-off for the 11th grade’s upcoming #Design4Life unit on storytelling! Big ups to @bxelemental and @rochellehkwan from @chinatownrecordsproject for coming throug to share your passion, craft and personal story with our young people!

Thanks again to @sparkcampuslibrary and @newdesignhigh staff without whom this would be impossible. Our next one is scheduled for December 10th…we’re on the hunt for 2-3 ARTivists who would love to come in and perform for, as well as connect and build with, our entire 9th grade! Hit us up backchannel if you’d like to learn more #ReEducate #RockTheCipher #RepTheCode #WalkYourPath #CarryAPassport #ShineTheLight #ShareTheLove

Our next #GoodVibesCafe at @newdesignhigh this school year will be this Wednesday, November 19th! We‘re blessed to have @rochellehkwan from @chinatownrecordsproject and @bxelemental (who’s also one of our lead TAs at NDHS this year) stopping by to shine their light and share the love with our entire 11th grade.

Once again it’s not really open to the public, but if you’re interested in checking it out, hit us up and we’ll see what we can do. Big ups to @theshop.ndhs and @sparkcampuslibrary for all your support helping make this happen!

Yesterday was too dope! S/o to @conceptthehashtronaut for the opportunity to blaze the stage.
First time performing SIFU in front of an audience, and it got quite the response. Can't wait to drop it.

By far our most successful #GoodVibesCafe at @newdesignhigh to date! @Emile.YX and @Charly.X2C repped #CapeTown #SouthAfricanHipHop and @HealTheHoodZA to the fullest with a phenomenal performance and presentation for the entire 11th grade. They dropped serious gems about the importance of identity and passion in one’s journey for success and happiness. They got a student and teacher to get up and dance during one of their songs. And Charly even went above and beyond the call of duty, running a studio session with one of our student performers to help her practice!! Once again thanks to @sparkcampuslibrary for all your support in making this happen. We’ve been contracted to pull together three more Cafes before the end the school year, so stay-tuned for more details. #SayWord #ReEducate #RockTheCipher #WalkYourPath #ShineTheLight #ShareTheLove #NYCtoCPT
