filet skirt (rose skirt pattern by @cozyfaeriecraft ) - which is very close to being finished and cant wait to give it a proper block so the design shows properly!

POV: something you crocheted gets to be part of one of the biggest moments of your sister’s life 🥹🧶💍

My handmade sequin poncho went to ROME 🇮🇹✨

I made this sparkly, fringed, sequin-covered poncho for my sister - and I don’t think I could have imagined a better adventure for it.

She wore it around Rome, past the Colosseum, to the Trevi Fountain… and somewhere along the way SHE GOT ENGAGED!!! 💍😭

As a crochet artist, there’s something so special about seeing something that existed as yarn in your hands become part of someone else’s memories.

And knowing one of my handmade pieces was there for such a huge moment in my sister’s life? 🥹 Yeah. This one’s pretty special.

✨The Shimmer Poncho is Shimmering ✨

This pattern is perfect for end of summer sunshine. I found it great for my beginner/intermediate crochet skills. Lots of chaining! Completely customizable to size and length. The texture of the sequin yarn makes it very forgiving if you make a mistake here and there.

Mine crocheted with one strand Lana Grossa Cosmo held with one strand Mirasol Inka (I found a single stand of Cosmo harder to see what I was doing, but the carry along completely fixed that for me!) One ball each yarn with lots of leftover. Find them online or in store now.
