One of my favourite scenes from one of my favourite movies by one of my favourite actors. Just some part about this old-school letter conversation brings calm, simplest of things said like “treated myself to an auto- rickshaw ride” perfectly capture the life the character was living. Especially this scene , with the painter, symbolising how everyone is the same but with small differences is just .…..

The Unopened Letter 💌

A Representation of the world full of unopened DMs and the confusion of whether to see the message or not, whether to reply or not and the never ending anxiety of what does the message say?

“Ek khat hai Jo Abhi Khula nahi,
Shayad koi achi cheez ka sabar,
Ya, koi buri cheez ki khabar,
Ek khat hai Jo Abhi khula nahi,
Shayad koi nayi cheez bun rahi ho ,
Ya, koi Purani cheez toot Rahi ho,
Ek khat hai jo Abhi khula nahi,
Ya phir,
Ek khat hai jo khul raha nahi.”

Kaash teri har kahani mein,
Mera ek chota sa kissa ho.

Kaash jab tu daastan-e-zindagi sunae,
Usme mera bhi chota sa hissa ho.
