A Day with the 100 Black Men of London – Community Mentoring Programme 🏆💎
24 January 2026

Our Community Mentoring Programme was in full flow as our Diamonds 💎 engaged in the Wealthy Children’s Manifesto session. The focus was on mindset, values, financial awareness, and personal responsibility, equipping young people with practical tools to think differently about their future.

This is real community work in action: structured mentoring, positive role models, and intentional conversations that build confident, capable, and purpose-driven young people.

The future is being shaped, one session at a time. 👏🏾

This month is Mentoring Month.

Over the weekend at CMP, we asked our Diamonds what they would like to thank their mentors for. Their responses were truly heartwarming.

We already know that our mentors are doing a fantastic job, and we felt it was important to share the proof with you all. The voices of our young people speak volumes.

Aaron - Mentor

“He makes me think about situations in different ways.”

MICB 2 Diamond 💎

This is the impact of mentorship in action. Thank you, Aaron, for challenging perspectives, expanding thinking, and helping our young people develop confidence, critical thinking, and resilience.

@aaronmwallace is the founder of @byaaronwallace Aaron saw a gap in the grooming market for Black men, products that actually worked for textured hair and melanin-rich skin. So he did what true visionaries do: he created the solution himself.

The vision began in a barbershop in Croydon, where Aaron wasn’t just cutting hair, he was listening.

From relationship struggles to financial stress, and the constant frustration over hair and beard issues, the men in his chair shared it all.

It was in those everyday conversations that Aaron saw a deeper need, and chose to take a chance.

From formulating products in the back of his South London barbershop to @byaaronwallace landing shelves in Selfridges and ASOS.

Aaron mission is to create a clean, natural skincare and beardcare that speaks directly to the concern of Black men.
