Now that summer is over, I'm getting round to posting what I've been up to! I had the pleasure of joining @secondhomestudios_uk for a month of work experience, where I got the chance to work on an exciting project for the students at @mybcu . I loved every minute of this project (even the endless minutes of sanding and sculpting brick edges!), and working with such a brilliant team of people. A huge thankyou to everyone at Second Home Studios for having me, especially Amanda and her bestest girl @whereswallis00 for being such great mentors❤ A big thankyou also to my friends @cureforstars @byab.art and @tabathagell for being the best work experience twins ever and providing the bestest music to sand, sculpt and paint to🥰

The Artist has been hard at work painting his new Selkie companion and getting his spark back 👀✨He gets a bit lazy once he finishes the faces though….

The Artist’s painting style is heavily influenced by his art-nouveau contemporaries of Leyendecker and Mucha. He’s always painting his muse as smiling and free spirited 🐚

We have some fantastic photos to share, back from our evenings photographer @folipic , and what an amazing job she’s done, capturing and editing the essence of a Wytch gig! 🌙✨

An overly dramatic, if not completely disorientating montage from August 2025. Featuring @leopearsonmusic’s soundtrack for Éiru.

On the theme ‘Folklore’. @louishudson summoned Brum’s foremost folklore, the Piss Troll, while suspended in the air dressed as a fairy. It ended as badly as expected. (Thanks @tat_vision & @notnickjhenderson)

The first half was crammed with some incredible talent. We also had some @mohoanimation licenses to raffle as part of their sponsorship.

Finally, @cartoonsaloon’s @ferrarianimation gave us an insightful behind the scenes look of Éiru.

Big thanks to @picturemover for filming and @joshclarke_____ for additional footage. Editing by @louishudson.

More August Overlappers. Thinking of submitting something? You’ve got 10 days. It can be an older film that no one’s seen before, a new film you’re proud of, or if you need inspiration the next prompt is “FORTUNE.”
