🤍 Sometimes I think about the Nigerian girl born and raised in Hackney and all the versions of me she had not met yet.

The girl who would lose 100lbs. Build a career in tech. Start businesses. Create a life that takes her from London 🇬🇧 to Atlanta 🇺🇸. And somewhere along the way, realise that wanting more for yourself doesn’t mean being ungrateful for where you started.

I think that’s why I’ve become so intentional about the people I surround myself with.

Lunch in Buckhead with @victoriazubuike & @byakunna was one of those afternoons filled with great company and girl boss talk, the kind of conversations that leave you feeling super inspired. 🎀

And a little full-circle moment 🥹 Akunna gifted me this @shewhofficial journal at the beginning of the year, months before either of us knew we’d end up sitting across the table from the woman who created it. Life is funny like that. 😅

It reminded me that your environment really does shape what starts to feel possible for you. There’s something special about being around women who are building, dreaming bigger and genuinely rooting for each other.

Your life can BECOME SO MUCH BIGGER than the version you once imagined for yourself.

So nurture your friendships. Make the introduction. Send the DM. Put yourself in new rooms. And don’t disqualify yourself from a life you haven’t experienced yet. ✨

What’s something your younger self would be proud to see in your life today?

I had the most incredible week attending the Black Business Week and the show @ukbbshow @ukbbweek! Meeting like minded people in business striving for more! A space where we can share knowledge and gain wisdom from industry experts!

Networking and sharing my experiences with others, taught me that. You should go for what you want to achieve in life and stay consistent! Being in rooms like this reminds me it’s important to share your experience because someone will always benefit from your advice.
