Breanna has been designing outfits for her dolls for weeks… ✏️✨

Sketching, cutting them out, and even taping them onto her dolls to bring her ideas to life.

So I figured… why not take it a step further? 🧵💭

I bought her a sewing machine…
and instead of putting it off (because yes… I was 😅), we went and learned together.

We spent an hour at @byathreadstudio
learning the basics, threading the bobbin, switching feet, stitch patterns, all of it.

And honestly… it was more than a class.

It was a moment for her. 💕

Watching her take something from her imagination… and move one step closer to creating it for real.

Now I’m just sitting here wondering…
what will Breanna create first? 🪡✨

Yin yoga helped me heal in ways I didn’t expect. After my spine injury from working in the Cath Lab, Yin was the practice that slowly gave me my mobility back. And it helped me release the micro-traumas I didn’t realize I was still carrying.

I was so moved by the power of Yin that I asked my yoga and spiritual teacher, Daniel Castro (@nilahasta), to create a full Yin Yoga series for Open Heart. This practice is gentle, accessible, and available to anyone who feels called.

If Yin is something your body or spirit has been asking for, this series is for you.

The full series of the Yin Yoga practice I follow is live now on YouTube! Link in bio 🔗

Our bodies store trauma. How do we release all these things over the years that our bodies have held onto?

Episode 6 with Yoga & Spiritual Teacher Daniel Castro @nilahasta is live now! 🎧 on Apple or Spotify, or 👀 on YouTube!

In addition to an interview with Daniel, we created a special Yin Yoga series to support your healing. Links to both episodes are in bio. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Heart Stitched: Phase One
This project means a lot to me because it started with a simple realization. While preparing blankets and bundles for kids in foster care earlier this year, I noticed how few items were set aside for teens. They are often the ones forgotten about, and I knew I wanted to create something specifically for them. That’s how Heart Stitched came to life.

Last night our Dimensions Group partnered with By a Thread Studio and came together to make handmade items and gather essentials for teen girls in the Tarrant County foster care system through the Rainbow Room.

And selfishly, I love the community I’m building while supporting our community. Seeing thirty women show up with so much heart was the best reminder that small things add up when we do them together.

Phase Two happens December 11 and I’m excited to finish strong for these girls.

Grateful to @byathreadstudio , a locally owned business, for walking us through this project, and to @hopefullygrown for capturing these moments so well.

We all have that thing—the thread that connects what we do to why we do it.

For me, it’s always been about impact.

I’ve realized the importance of showing up with an open heart, even beyond the hospital walls.

I’ve always been a closet creative. Now that part of me is taking the lead on a soul-driven, heart-led mission to spark meaningful dialogue.
