⭐ Monthly Mail Club ⭐
September 2026
.
Featuring artist: Dahee Im
@bydahee
.
Dahee Im is a Korean-Canadian illustrator based in Vancouver, BC. Inspired by childhood memories, beloved objects, and stories that resonate across generations, she creates colourful, joyful, and playful work using gouache, crayons, and digital media. Alongside building her portfolio as an aspiring author-illustrator in children’s books, she also runs a small online shop, participates in local markets, and hosts creative workshops.
.
When she's not drawing, Dahee enjoys wandering through neighbourhoods, spending afternoons in cozy cafés, and searching for hidden treasures while thrifting. These quiet moments often help her work through creative blocks and become a source of inspiration for new stories and illustrations. She also loves travelling throughout Asia, where she finds inspiration in everyday street scenes, local shops, food, and the unique charm of each place she visits. Through every project, she hopes to create artwork that evokes comfort, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.
.
We are so excited to be welcoming Dahee Im as our first featured artist in our Monthly Mail Club series.
.
You may now subscribe to our Mail Club via our website at www.mafrankie.com. The deadline to subscribe to receive the September edition closes on September 1st.
.
The first round of letters will be sent out the first week of September. This set will include our newsletter, a print designed by the artist, as well as some stickers!
.

Wrapped up November in the most wholesome way at @honeysuckle.collective's Holiday Coffee + Friends Market ☕✨! Surrounded by the coffee community and beyond, the cozy event was filled with highlights: @eu.plekhanova's heavenly mulled coffee, @tourbus_yvr's delicately decadent pastries, mini live portraits by @bydahee, and delicious brews by @honeysuckle.collective and friends!

It was the perfect way to close the month and welcome the festive season 🫶🎄. Thank you @honeysuckle.collective for organizing and to everyone who came by to say hello and supported my art!

there is so much going on in the world right now. i read somewhere that micro joys allow us to deal with macro grief. gather with your friends, do both the whimsy and the sad. do both the joy and the angry. may the cal bring spaces for connection.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the @vancouverchinesegarden for the Chinatown Market + Craft Fair despite the rainy weather ☔. It truly meant so much to be able to connect with so many attendees, vendors and volunteers all in the same space.

While we're done with holiday markets, we will be having our final coffee pop up of the year with our favourite dance party at @morningdiscoofficial on Dec 28th 🕺🪩💃🏻 and busy planning our schedule for the new year!
