Friends and Family on My Disney (College Program) Experience ✨

One year ago today, on February 4, 2022, I sat in my Traditions class for my first official hire date with the Walt Disney Company. As I sat on my chair, I worried about my future work location, if I would make any friends, and what would await me once I officially started. Never could I have anticipated not only the memories I would come to create throughout the year, but the lifelong friends I would make! Magic Kingdom Park Entry has honestly been the sweetest and most accepting group of people I have ever met. From having the best birthday ever to hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner to impromptu Disney vacations to doing things as simple as fitting six people on a four people bike, there have been so many moments that have become ingrained in my heart. There are so many people to thank for the amazing year I had and for the personal growth I experienced. Initially when I came, I was super shy and closed off, but throughout the year, I've become more talkative and confident! It's crazy what confidence, support, and happiness can do to a person! I am so, so excited to see what else will happen as I continue my time at the Walt Disney Company this year! To anyone during my time at the Disney College Program reading this, thank you. Words cannot explain how important you are to me and how glad I am that the universe had us meet! I have so many friends all over the country (and the world) because of you! Here's to crossing paths again and creating more "magical moments" together. You are the magic!! ✨

“Goodbye may seem forever. Farewell is like the end, but in my heart is the memory and there you will always be.” -Walt Disney

I’ve met some of the most incredible people during my Disney College Program. I am so grateful for the memories I have with you all. “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” I love you weirdos more than you know. Til next time, friends.
