I am SO excited to be back @bufferfestival in a few days premiering my new short comedy film! @paradiseonbloor 🥳 throwback from 2017 where we managed to cram as many of us in a pic. Can’t wait to be back in Canada and see some familiar faces 🙌

I prefer a fountain sprite but the can is fine too. 😇 📸: @bynickrasmussen 💄: @byerscas

A big ol’ life dump. I am so out of practice posting on main and not just the best tiktoks on my story. But anyway, this is what is taking up space on my phone lately. 🤙🏾

Reflecting on 2020 I want to give a shout-out of appreciation to my girlfriends. Our zoom calls and post lockdown meet-ups have kept me sane this year. My meds have wreaked havoc on my brain this year, making it quite tough at times and you’ve helped me deal with it with such compassion, understanding and by making me laugh. I don’t think I’ve ever properly expressed how much it’s helped me. I know it’s not something everyone has and I’m really grateful to have you in my life. Here’s to a better 2021, more fun times and more cocktails (beer for us @charlotteemmapc 🍻). And not girls but @chrisfox @jazzajohn @qdqm_ @nikialbon you’re obv included in this too 😘

Our precious friend, Leah, crossed over early this morning. We’re utterly crushed and our hearts go out to Leah’s Mum and family.

We’re eternally thankful that we were some of the lucky ones in this World that called Leah “friend” because she truly was the best friend. Kahlua and Leah were always on the forefront of our adventures, wanting to investigate everything around them. We will hold these memories close to us forever with the comfort of knowing that our sister, Jaden, is taking care of Leah.

We love you so much, Leah ♥️✨

Very excited to announce that my short film, Unforgettable, premieres on @watchdust today! Go check it out on their page or at the link in my bio. As always, huge thanks to the amazing team of humans who helped get this made! (And watch out for @katrinibambini folks, she is as crazy as the internet trolls think she is in the comments) #unforgettable

Word of advice: if one of your favorite photographers comes to town, have your makeup artist friend turn you into Diana Ross, have your fashion friend’s selects at the ready, and make the photoshoot happen, even if it’s in a freezing pool. It’s a good idea, I’ve done it. 💙 @jasperegan 🤍 @byerscas 💙 @heymeatball

Dispatch from my first vacation day: I went to Disneyland after dark and took this selfie in the Grand Californian lobby bathroom after I ate a churro. My lipstick is feeling free and so am I. Also, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is amazing. AMAZING. 🚀 🏰

Hey new people, I’m Akilah, obviously! I like candles, wide width shoes, and watching Donald Trump’s friends get arrested. I’m the host of the #2 news podcast (and #8 podcast worldwide) and we don’t even have a full episode out yet 😎 If you want to know more about me go to the link in bio, subscribe to the podcast, leave a review AND go buy my book ‘Obviously.’ It’s a very magical link up there. —ALSO the theme is orange which I almost certainly will regret because the leaves don’t change colors in LA how tf am I gonna keep this up?? 🍊🏮📙🧡
