it’s national library week, and what better way to celebrate the amazing services that @chicagopubliclibrary provides communities all over the city than with their amazing and timely recos for books and movies celebrating international workers day / may day! scroll through for something for the whole fam, and take advantage of CPL’s fab programming, free museum tickets, seed libraries and so many other services all year 📚

Check in real quick #UrbanFam, how’s your jaw? If it’s clenched, that’s your body doing its best to keep up. A gentle reminder for today is to unclench your jaw.

We hold so much there: stress, urgency, things we didn’t get to say.
Let your tongue rest, soften your breath, drop your shoulders.
You don’t need to brace yourself for the moment you’re already in.
