Tomato Feast recap. 🌿🍅 This is what you get if a perfumer and a chef throw a feast together! Botanical green cocktails with tarragon and tomato, long tables with tomato candles, a huuuuge savoury tomato cake, smelling all the scent botanical materials that are in eau de Tomato Leaf and all of those translated in the delicious 5-course dinner cooked by Tessa @detuinderstafel.

Unforgettable memories of the special day we had in the historic walled garden of @tuinderij_eyckenstein, many many thanks for the collaboration of dreams @detuinderstafel thank you so much @marijepopping for everything and thank you @tuinderij_eyckenstein for preparing everything so well, @bypleundebijl for the photos and @danny.griffioen for the videos and of course all who were present and made this every bit as magical as we dreamed it would be.

In a world where we document everything
and can buy endless storage,
we sometimes forget how special photos really are.

They hold memories
so we can return to them, again and again.

During my time in Bali, I barely touched my phone.

And when @bypleundebijl picked up her analog camera,
I didn’t even feel like being in the frame.

I’m so grateful she did it anyway.

Because photos have the power
to bring you right back.

And on this rooftop,
some of my most beautiful Bali memories were made.

Always cherish your pictures.

One day, you’ll look back
and relive a life you once lived.

Imagine being a beautiful woman.

Yet feeling so insecure about your body.
Holding your belly in for a photo.
So hyper-aware of every bump and hair.

I kindly ask you to stop.

Please, look at yourself the way you look at other beautiful women.

Cherish your body and yourself.

Because one day, you’ll look back at old photos,
and your little girl will ask:

“Wow… is that really you, Mommy?”

Suddenly, you’ll see your own beauty crystal clear.

And all you’ll wish for

is that you had savored it more in the moment.

Building a business while staying in tune with my feminine flow keeps being a challenge, especially in a fast-paced city like Amsterdam.

But every time I catch myself rushing, grinding, or forcing…

I think back to my holiday.

Because something really shifted there.

I literally noticed how, by slowing down, I opened myself up to meaningful conversations with strangers, intuitive downloads, and true rest.

And I remind myself: I’m still that same woman I was in Portugal.

Only my environment changed.

I can still internally access that same state of presence, openness, and mindfulness, even here.

Sure, it’s a bit more challenging (because… Amsterdam).

But it’s not impossible.

And I hope you remember that too.
