POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It took us a little while to process what happened at the @MunichBackyard.
So many loops, long days, tired legs, loud cheers, quiet moments and countless memories in between.
Here is our recap of a weekend we won’t forget anytime soon.

What was your favourite Backyard moment?
Tell us in the comments - whether you ran, supported, volunteered, or simply shared the experience with us. 👇🏽

Feel free to share this video with your people, your crew, or anyone who should have been part of the weekend. It is also a small way to support the creators who turned all those moments into this recap.
We would love for it to reach everyone who was part of it and everyone who might want to be part of the next one. 🫰🏽🫂

We are already hard at work preparing Munich Backyard 2027.
Your hosts, @montis.png & @dommikurz , are looking forward to seeing you again.

Until then, keep the memories close and let us know which one stays with you.

A special thank you to @luankurtisi for bringing this recap to life and capturing the weekend so beautifully.

I’M NOT IN DANGER. I’M THE DANGER. ⚠️

10 runs. 5 days. 67.44 km.

Two runs a day. To work and back. No race bib. No finish line. Just consistency.

Every kilometre counts on the road to @Backyard.Llagostera. 🏃‍♂️

The work nobody sees is what prepares you for the miles that matter.

Could you run twice a day for five days?

Munich: 43 loops.
Llagostera: ?

In a Backyard Ultra, your previous result means nothing when the bell rings.

One loop every hour.
No finish line.
No distance goal.
Just one question:

Can you do one more loop?

☀️ Day loop: 6.7 km | +118 m | 08:00–17:00
🌙 Night loop: 6.7 km | +69 m | 18:00–07:00

📅 5 December 2026
📍 Backyard Ultra Llagostera

❤️ More than a race.
Every registration supports Oncolliga Girona, a non-profit organization helping people with cancer and their families through emotional, social, and practical support.

i always thought my mind was my strongest asset. this time i got reminded that i have to work on that too. body felt amazing so with some time to think i am not satisfied with the 36 loops. i want more. good thing there are many more backyards to come (sorry mum!) to prove that to myself.

also biggest thanks to my crew for the help and trust in me! i love you all! you are part of this!🫶🏻

Dankbarkeit, Stolz, Wut, Erschöpfung, Demut, Frust, Ärger, Zweifel, Kampfgeist, Erleichterung und am Ende jede Menge Glücksgefühl: 24 Stunden Backyard und einmal alle Emotionen durchlebt.

Am Ende zählt: I did it!

Munich Backyard 2026: Danke! Danke an die Organisation, an alle Helfer, an alle Läufer - 100 Meilen können von der Bucketlist gestrichen werden. Auf zu neuen Abenteuern. 🤔🤫
