Super fun event where I got to set up this event with an overnight crew. I was the A2 and set up everything for @byronbellemusic who was the A1. The show crew came in the next day to take over so everything needed to be perfect by the time we were done. Ended up leaving at around 3:00am and drove home after. Video crew ended up staying close to 5:00am working on the LED walls.

Had a Yamaha QL5 at FOH along with some Shure Axient wireless. Freespeak II and HelixNet for coms, QSC LA108’s and LS118 for the PA. We utilized a Ferrofish Pulse 16DX to convert all video signals from a Blackmagic constellation via MADI to Dante to go straight to the console. Makes playback a breeze when setting up.

Comment below if you use Dante and what your thoughts are of this setup. Would love to hear what people think. Also, give my friend Byron a follow and watch his YouTube video that goes over this setup!

I encountered @byronbellemusic in the wild! Good times bro! Absolute joy to work with.

@therealkimwaters is very cool and mixing monitors with an obstructed view can happen.

And @alphalabsaudio De-Feedback is a game changer for monitor engineers when it completely takes the band and stage out of the vocal mics🙌
