A glimpse of my process w Jonny’s monthly mullet maintenance. We like to do a shallow burst taper to preserve length behind the ear and connect the top for versatility styling forwards or back.

Cut with @mizutaniscissors_official and @babylissprobarber
Styled with @stmntgrooming cocktail of Shine Paste and Curl Cream, then finished by diffusing til 75% dry.

RUME STUDIO FILM

Styled w/ @stmntgrooming and @kenraprofessional

7 of our stylist gathered up a model in under a week notice and we took it to @generalsystems.studio for a field day.
When I did this cut, I mistakingly alr did the cut before filming and I honestly didn’t have much to shoot so I jus ended up cutting more hair. Nonetheless loved the look we went for on my model.

Incredibly excited to announce that I’ll be co-hosting “The Bottega: Social & Culture” alongside the homies.

Coming back to the DJ scene, I knew I wanted to do something different. Something bigger than my own personal goals and the vision I originally set out to achieve.

Over the past few years, I’ve been deep in the community-building side of brands, especially coming from Twitter. After some time away from DJing, I noticed a massive lack of real community and curation for the people actually going out to these events.

Most weekends look the same. Go out, buy drinks, repeat. Nothing wrong with that. Go have a good time. But where’s the substance?

It’s always been a dream of mine to put on an event outside the traditional nightclub scene. One that shifts the attention back to intimacy, community, and culture. A room where you leave knowing more people than when you walked in. This event is simply just the start.

A huge personal thank you to @bvbyrooski for providing and opening up a venue to host this. A thank you to @louiscastor for connecting me with Rooski and making this possible. A thank you to @amumatcha for providing the drinks on this beautiful day. Lastly, a huge thank you to @leiamurao for being the best designer and event organizer. None of this would be possible without this team!

That’s what The Bottega is about. Good music, good people, real conversations.

See you there.
