I spoke with the talented @yann_turchi to discover how and why his career shifted, and how he’s finding new ways to express his perspective on humans and hair.

We looked into his book, a publication that feels like a journey into a world where hair is more than something to take care of. It becomes a crown, an accessory, a form of self-expression.

Now behind the camera, Yann brings the same eye to photography, naturally moving between heritage and modern culture, art, fashion and the street.

He brings something we need more of: a point of view that feels new, unexpected and deeply personal.

« I wanted to work on the portrait of a woman, an interior designer with an elegant and refined appearance.

She is a woman who intrigues me, and whom I wanted to discover through this portrait.

I wanted to try and break through the shell of this woman, who is hidden behind the mask that we all wear in this creative world.

The images are like stolen moments of an actress on the set of her next film.

Everything is real—her apartment, her decor—but the whole thing is scripted and staged. »
