Tunisian Heritage Ghomrassen, Tataouine by @bywizn

This project focuses on traditional Tunisian clothing and the cultural heritage of southern Tunisia, particularly the melhfa, its jewelry, head ornaments and the different elements that make up the traditional attire.

I wanted to photograph the garment in an environment that reflects its roots, rather than presenting it simply as a fashion piece. The series was shot at Ksar Ben Adir, near Ghomrassen, where the traditional architecture, earth, stone and landscapes of the Dahar naturally echo the colors and textures of the clothing.

Through this project, my intention was to highlight the connection between Tunisian identity, traditional craftsmanship and the land, while documenting and celebrating a heritage that has been passed down through generations.

Location: Ghomrassen, Tataouine, Tunisia

The COCO Time ⭐️ 912 ⭐️
