Petit Allegro | Day Program Exam 2026

The goal of petit allegro is not simply to jump higher or move faster. It is to achieve beauty, precision, and harmony in even the smallest movement. Every step, every transition, every detail matters.

Jumps should not land with a thud, we must control our upper body, moving arms head and even gaze in a harmonious and controlled way.

This is what we strive for at Bayer Ballet. Through rigorous training, patience, and countless hours of hard work, we teach our students to seek beauty and harmony in every element of classical dance, no matter how small.

And nothing makes us happier than seeing our students carry these qualities with them long after they leave our school. The understanding of movement, the attention to detail, and the sense of harmony become part of who they are as dancers and people.

Technique and artistry. There is no shortcut to beauty. We work hard for it, every day.

Bayer Ballet at the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival!

We were delighted to perform at this year’s Mountain View Art & Wine Festival and to welcome so many families to the Bayer Ballet booth throughout the weekend.

From our youngest dancers to our advanced students, each performance was prepared and presented with the same level of care and professionalism that guides our work in the studio. We were proud to share a program that was age-appropriate, engaging, and reflective of the thoughtful training and artistic standards we strive to give every student.

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to take part in this year’s festival, and thank the City of Mountain View, the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce @chamber.mv , and the festival organizers @mountainviewartandwine for making it possible.

A special thank you to our students for representing Bayer Ballet so beautifully, and to our wonderful parent volunteers for their time, energy, and support throughout the weekend.

And to the many families who stopped by our booth, watched our dancers perform, and discovered more about Bayer Ballet and our programs, it was wonderful to meet you! We hope to welcome many of you to Bayer Ballet for our Pre-Ballet Open House on September 20, from 1:00–4:30 PM, for children ages 3–9. Join us to observe open classes, meet our teachers, participate in a Q&A, and enjoy a short student demonstration. 💙

Le Corsaire, Summer Intensive 2026

Our six-week Summer Intensive culminated in a performance of Le Corsaire, one of classical ballet’s most beautiful and exciting works.

We are grateful for the wonderful six weeks we spent with our Bayer Ballet and guest students, dedicated to strengthening technique, developing artistry, and working together to bring this magnificent ballet to the stage.

Our heartfelt thanks to our faculty who guided our students throughout the intensive: Inna Bayer @inna.bayerballet , Maiia Musaeva @maiia_m_usa_eva , Elena Nikolaeva @elenanikolaevaballet , Sora Kim @sorakimballet , Elenina Nikolaou @elenina_nikolaou , Anton Lukovkin @alukovkin , and to everyone who helped make the performance possible.

We are also grateful to our guest artists of Phoenix Ballet @phoenixballet , Parker Rozzano-Keefe @parker_dancer39 and Tyler Cohen @tyler_cohen_dance for sharing their artistry with our students and audience and helping make Le Corsaire such a special performance.

A huge thank you to our students’ parents for their dedication and support, and to our administrative staff for all their work behind the scenes.

🤎💙BBA SI ‘26 Le Corsaire💙🤎

Another amazing summer intensive @bayerballetacademy gone by so quickly! This year, I’ve learned so much from new challenging roles like Odalisque Trio. Working on such a classical piece was one of the hardest challenges I have ever faced, and @inna.bayerballet really helped teach me how the tiniest details and a lot hard work can result in an invaluable art form. I would also like to thank Ms. Ksenia @ballet_in_amsterdam for her guidance on Medora’s friends and especially Turkish Soloist, I’m so grateful to dance your choreography and learn from you! As always, thank you to @maiia_m_usa_eva for your infinite patience on cleaning our beautiful Enchanted Garden. And finally @alukovkin for daily class and corrections, and motivating us every day.

Fondu en centre sur demi-pointe

Day Program Exam 2026

Teacher: Inna Bayer @inna.bayerballet

In this combination, we see a synthesis of fundamental fondu elements executed on demi-pointe. The exercise demands excellent stability, seamless transitions from one supporting leg to the other, and the ability to transition directly into pirouettes while maintaining balance and control.

Beyond its technical demands, this combination requires dancers to consistently assume and sustain correct, beautiful classical positions. Developing these skills gives our students the technical foundation and confidence to master some of the most challenging classical repertoire and variations.
