Spent last Sunday getting crafty over at @ourcosy.abode’s, bedazzling claw clips and hair brushes with a little extra sparkle ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆˚࿔

E sweetened the afternoon with a yoghurt bar filled with an array of yummy toppings!

The star of the yoghurt bar? This honey butter almond spread that E introduced us to — We couldn’t get enough of it! 🤤

Alongside egg tarts, jalapeño sourdough and chicken wings, we each brought a little something to share. 😋

And just when we thought the crafty fun was over, E surprised us with polaroid frames and perler beads for a little bonus crafting session!

A cosy afternoon filled with yummy treats, crafty hands and pretty little creations. Here’s a peek at our bedazzled accessories! 🤩✨

Cutest cat inspired the seasonal drink - Chocolate with black pepper cold foam!!! It’s such a unique drink. I devoured it on the way back. Not to mention the best bakes. It’s taste like fall 🍂🍁 if you are near Hougang area, check them out!!

The other day making zine at @rm.buangkok 🤎 Thank you for hosting us, & your hubs for cooking a yummy spread!! 😋✨📷🍟

Was too caught up with making the zine (stressing out 😮‍💨), I forgot to document the process. 🙈

We made our zines on canva using a template, added all our photos, printed them out, then cut + folded everything into a zine! We decorated ours with stickers, handwritten words and little doodles. 🎀✂️

You can also keep it simple — just get some paper, fold it into a zine and paste your photos onto the pages. 🥰

What you need:
• Choose your photos beforehand
• Printer
• A4 paper
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Pen/markers
• Glue/tape
• Stickers decoration

This past weekend, we gathered at @rm.buangkok’s for an afternoon of brainstorming, snipping, sticking and putting our crafty hands to work at our very own zine-making workshop ✄┈ ✎ᝰ.ᐟ⋆⑅˚₊

We were first welcomed with the loveliest spread of small bites, courtesy of Chef R — Truffle fries, potato salad, and not one, but 𝙩𝙬𝙤 types of *gourmet* sandwiches! And because crafting calls for plenty of fuel, we later took a post-activity snack break featuring shio pans, home-baked cookies, and two varieties of cashew treats 🥜

Of course, we couldn’t help but admire @rm.buangkok’s beautifully curated home, filled with thoughtfully thrifted finds that gave every little corner so much charm and character 🤩✨

And then, the real fun began — Our 3-4 hour journey of compiling photos, cutting out snippets, piecing together memories and bringing our very own zines to life

Here’s how they turned out!

I love how no two zines are alike, yet each one feels so us — A little collection of our adventures, personalities and creativity, all bound together in our own unique way ‎٩(⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)و*̣̩⋆̩*

Instead of spending hours waiting in line for plush flower bouquets, we created our own little flower market over yummy snacks and the dreamiest oatmilk matcha slushie at @c.afetayria’s. ⚘.⋆˚࿔

Each of us came armed with a vase and enough blooms for the five of us to share, ready to mix, match, and build our own bouquets. Little did we know, HY had secretly brought along extra flowers and fillers, turning one bouquet each into two beautiful creations per person! 𑁍ࠬܓ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜

Somewhere between sorting stems, swapping flowers, arranging petals and choosing the decor, it felt like we were living out a childhood dream of becoming florists. There was something incredibly healing about creating with our hands and watching every bouquet take on a personality of its own. (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ

From the flowers to the conversations, and the occasional surprise appearances from Pepper and Cocoa, the afternoon felt nothing short of magical. ⋆⭒˚.⋆

No queues, no competition, no fighting over flowers—just a table full of blooms, creativity, and joy~ 𓇢𓆸

After months of planning, Crafts & Cosy officially made its debut! ·˚ ༘༘⋆ˎˊ˗

To kick things off, we tried our hand at tin foil art — a craft that had been popping up all over our FYPs and looked simple enough to recreate. As it turns out, embossing thicker foil was much trickier than expected and quickly became quite the arm workout. ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)

Still, the afternoon was about so much more than crafting. Between cups of chai, delicious treats, and the gentle rhythm of creating together, conversations flowed easily and stories were shared. It was such a joy getting to know one another in a space that felt warm, welcoming, and wonderfully cosy. ༄.°

My heart is full from all the laughter, creativity, and genuine connections that made our very first gathering so special. Thank you to each and every one of you for being part of this beginning and for helping Crafts & Cosy feel exactly as I’d imagined it would. ♡

A special shoutout to @ourcosy.abode for capturing these little moments on our behalf while we were busy getting lost in the creative process. ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

Already looking forward to doing it all again in two weeks’ time!
