No caption can truly sum up how much I miss and love this place

I’ve been procrastinating posting this because once I do, it becomes real that the last 5+ months are over. I came into this experience unsure of what to expect. Studying abroad had always been a dream, but I wondered if it would live up to everything I imagined. The truth is, it didn’t—it was a million times better. Italy taught me that whether you’re scared or excited to do something, sometimes you just have to take the leap. I met incredible people and made friendships I know I’ll cherish for a lifetime. I collected many memories that still feel like a dream.

Most importantly, Italy taught me to step outside of my comfort zone and stop treating every day like a race. It’s okay to slow down. It’s okay to miss things. It’s okay to prioritize yourself. From the highs of exploring a new place almost every weekend to the challenges of learning a new language, every moment changed me in ways I never expected.Spring 2026 will always have a piece of my heart. And being honest, I left a big piece of it in Reggio Emilia.

Aspettami, mi manchi e ti amo, Italia 🇮🇹🫶.
