2024 was quite a year I must say.

I have had quite the eventful year. I have been in an interesting place with my mental and physical health all year. Some parts were definitely a struggle. I found a place I loved and called home and then had to leave that place without wanting. I was most comfortable when I was performing on stage but life isn’t a musical and I had to face reality. I really learned who I was offstage.
Some parts of this year I felt like I would get through. I had times I felt really alone and I kind of was. I had lost a lot of friends and really lost myself.

I’m finding me again. I found an incredible community of people and my best friends who I love with my whole heart (@cheyennelevarity) I also found a theatre (Riverside Theatre) I absolutely adored. I met so many talented young and grown women who I look up to everyday and I can’t even begin to say how much they inspire me.
I got to go to France and Maine and see so much beauty in the world. It was a hard year but I really am thankful for it and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Thank you 2024 for teaching me the beauty in life and showing me I am strong enough to get through the ugly. -Maggie McGrath
