Facing Fears Head On! 😤🔥(Read)

Where do I even begin?? This is gonna be a vulnerable post. There’s so many things I can say about why I’ve had this for so long, and the best way I can put it is financial and bad timing. It was first discovered when I went to a family pool party and my Uncle noticed it on my back. At that time I was 15 and it was the size of a grape. 🍇 I grew up in an environment where priorities lied elsewhere and this is in no way to shame my family, because we rock solid and our love runs deep. I just didn’t have parental guidance for a lot of the things a “normal” childhood should’ve had. A lot of adult responsibilities I had to learn on my own with little to no help, one of those being medical urgency and physical health. ❤️‍🩹

Getting it removed at its earlier stages was difficult cause it was considered “cosmetic”, so insurance wouldn’t cover the costs. Coming from a low income household it was very difficult to put selfish needs on the financial burden. It wasn’t until 2 years ago, now the size of a grapefruit 🍊 it has been deemed medically necessary to remove as it’s caused frequent neck and back injuries. The next struggle was having the financial swing to take 2-3 months off for recovery. Since the only way to have an income is use my body physically, it was hard to make room for that.

I am currently dancing on @royalcaribbean Star of the Seas 🚢 booking one of the best jobs you can as a free lance dancer. I am hopeful that this is a possibility. 🥹🙏🏽 They have provided plenty amenities to support my body, and I have no doubt in executing this contract. Having this lipoma for 15+ years I’ve learned to live through its discomfort. For anyone who may experience the same issue or just need a reason to love yourself I hope that this is a true testament of how to face your insecurities and love the skin you’re in. 🫶🏽

Finally rested after Star of the Seas Install! I can’t really put it all into words, but , my goodness, WE DID IT! YOU DID IT! This really did take the entire team and cast working tirelessly to get Pirates & Mermaids up and running and I am incredibly grateful for all the undeniable support offered to me and the team.
