A miracle I’ll never forget✨🤍 Since I can remember, I have always loved to sing. As the years have gone by, I’ve grown not only as an individual, but as a performer and a singer. It has become so clear to me that this is God’s path for me, and I can’t begin to describe the miracles, preparation, and blessings He has given me along the way! The day before the performance, I had completely lost my voice. It was even difficult to talk, and I was terrified. How was I supposed to compete if I couldn’t even speak? There were prayers, tears, and a very much wavering faith- but still present faith- deep within me. The day came, and although my voice was slightly better, I still couldn’t sing. I was beyond stressed. But something I’ve had to learn this past year is that God is a God of miracles. The second I opened my mouth to perform, I could sing. It was far from my best, but He carried me through every note. As I walked off the stage, shocked and overwhelmed with emotion, I realized I could barely even talk. It’s incredible what God can do when we put our full trust in Him! When they announced me as the winner of the competition and told me I had received a record deal, the only thought going through my head was, God is so good. Everything was because of Him, and all for Him. I was filled with a beautiful sense of peace that I had never felt before. I walked away that day with a record deal, but most importantly, I walked away with countless new friendships, meaningful connections, and a stronger relationship with my Heavenly Father. Looking back, I’m filled with so much excitement and gratitude for everything that has happened and everything that is still to come. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and for the people God has placed in my life. I truly can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes me💕 Without the support of my family, encouraging friends, and loving mentors, I would not be where I am today. What an amazing week of @teenpact_tennesse ! I've loved each and every time I've attended these past 3 years and this year it was even more special with me been elected as a senator! Thanks to everyone who made this week possible and to the @teenpact organization as a whole for creating these four-day classes so that students like me could learn leadership in a Christian setting.
