Thank you to our incredible team and suppliers for honouring the 15 victims with the beautiful candle tribute. Also a huge thank you to those community leaders who stood up when we needed them most!

A day filled with non-stop singing, spontaneous dance floors, and the kind of energy you feel through the screen.

Ash + Saul

A day to remember.

An honour beyond words.

This past Thursday night, on the stage of the @sydneyoperahouse, @zalmansimons and I had the privilege of singing Ani Ma’amin as the first letters of the Global Unity Sefer Torah were written — in honour of the 15 holy souls taken in the Chanukah terrorist attack at Bondi Beach.

This moment formed part of the ‘Light Will Win’ Shloshim memorial and National Day of Mourning, hosted by Chabad of Bondi together with the NSW Government. Ani Ma’amin — a song of unwavering faith and belief in a future of light — was especially close to Rabbi Eli Schlanger, whose life and shlichus embodied those words.

To sing it in his memory, before the world, was a privilege I will carry forever.

Ani Ma’amin.
I believe.

Last night, joy and grief stood side by side.

In the middle of a wedding, this community paused. They gathered. They sat together. They lit a Hanukkah candle not out of tradition alone, but out of meaning.

A moment of remembrance.
A moment of solidarity.
A moment of faith in one another.

When the world feels heavy, people still choose light.
They choose presence.
They choose to hold each other closer rather than turn away.

This is the power of the human spirit.
Not loud. Not performative.
Just deeply real.

Community is how we rise.

Had such a great vibe at this beautiful celebration 🙌. I have had the distinct honour of performing at the special family celebrations of so many of the guests. It felt nostalgic 🫶🏽
