Week well spent🐭❤️

These past 3 years that I got to wrestle have been some of the best and worst times of my high school years. From wrestling and winning the first ever sanctioned girls match to concussions and dislocating my shoulder I’ve fought through it all. I’ve never grown more as a person than I did these years and it’s taught me that nothing is going to be physically harder in life than those 6 minutes your on the mat. My coaches have given me the mentality that I’m strong and different from everyone else when I step onto the mat and my teammates have supported and given me a community that I thrived in. To the mangers I dragged into the sport we couldn’t have made it through the long tournament’s without you and appreciate you being there every step of the way. Even though to myself I was never a good wrestler I had fun doing it and pushing myself to be better every day. I will miss the long practices and bus rides to meets and getting aux during practice but most of all I’ll miss the team and bond we had. I’m forever grateful to my coaches for the opportunity to wrestle for Urbandale even though I go to dowling. And can proudly say I never missed weight in my 3 years. I love this team and what we’ve made here and am forever grateful my brother inspired me to go out for it.
