Some experiences end when the lights go down.

Others stay with you long after the room is empty.

For a few hours, creativity took center stage. Conversations became connections. Expression became community. People who may have never met found themselves sharing the same energy, the same atmosphere, and the same belief that something meaningful was happening around them.

What made THE ARTs special wasn’t what was on the stage. It was what was happening between people.

The reminder that we are more connected than we often realize.

For one night, artists, designers, musicians, and dreamers gathered under one roof for something greater than an event.

THE ARTs became a shared space where music, fashion, and art moved as one language. Where strangers became connected through expression, and imagination became something you could feel in real time.

In a world that moves fast and often feels disconnected, this night was a reminder. That creativity still has the power to slow everything down, bring people together, and make something real again.

Made possible by the designers, models, makeup artists, hairstylists, vendors, venue staff, patrons, and the entire creative team who brought it to life.

RVA Fashion Week was an experience I won’t forget!
There were so many moving parts and it took so many hard-working creatives to make it happen. To the directors, production, designers, models, hair, makeup, photographers, videographers, and everyone who made it happen- thank you so much! You put on such an incredible show.

I took a long break from modeling. This summer, I decided to get back into it.

@aspenonlife , you have been such a tremendous help with connecting me back into the industry and the modeling community here in RVA, you have no idea! You will always be the model I look up to!

@ryanazia , thank you so much for our runway practice sesh. I had only ever done commercial modeling until this fall, when I tried out a couple runway shows. You have no idea how helpful that was. I walked like a giraffe before that LOL. I really appreciate it.

It’s been such an exciting past 6 months since I’ve gotten back at it. I can’t believe I didn’t get back at it sooner!
I guess you can’t stop a girl from doing what she loves.

This year, I signed with a new agency- @theartistagency
I’m so excited to work with such a great agency.

This past weekend I was fortunate to walk in @rvafashionweek . At 34, I never thought I would be modeling. I am grateful to @c.reneeofficial for the opportunity. People asked if I would be nervous, and at first I was unsure. But even dressed like a ninja lol the nerves were real. Afterward, though, there was a deep sense of accomplishment. Stepping out of my comfort zone felt great, and it inspires me to keep pushing. I encourage anyone reading this chase what you want. You will not grow in comfort. Much like training in the gym growth comes from the hard things. Also, shout out to my buddy @trarellw for the support. It was a great weekend. Remember, God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Let that guide your path.#viralreels #rva #godsplan #growth #model
