“Through the Looking Glass” An experimental short film directed by me 🤗 (Shot on my phone) As some of you may know I’ve been working on this film for a very long time. I started this back in 2020 during the pandemic & I have been letting my insecurities of perfecting this film stop me from releasing it. I got so overwhelmed from having little to no resources for this to loosing 90% of the clothes & props I made for this project to so many sleepless nights, breakdowns and moments when I couldn’t even look at this to edit. I can count so many things that wasn’t right with the film that I didn’t even realize I was doing a disservice to the people who put their faith in my vision and turned what was in my head into physical form. I was so busy trying to prove something to myself I forgot to remember that there is so much beauty in imperfection - I’m not perfect- art isn’t perfect - art is art and I hope you all enjoy! (Link in bio to watch Full Video) Thank you to everyone who stuck my side and helped me release my very fist short film ❤️ @dickbyair @tete_x100 @prettynwateva @gravebandit @meccamozelle @neek.w @zariachenai @_nbx_ @ebhon3y @colinclassics & everyone else who doesn’t have an IG i appreciate and love you all so much *I do not own the copyrights to any of this music*
