Hey girl hey! My name is Clarisa, I’m a senior and currently the vice president of MEC. This is my second year being part of MEC.

Some things about me are that I’m basically always in the water, whether I’m swimming, playing water polo, or teaching kids how to swim. I absolutely love thrifting and learning how to upcycle. I’m obsessed with photography, love hanging out with friends & family, and I have a 3 gallon tub of acai at home. I joined MEC because I saw the dance and my friends encouraged me to tryout. Since then, I’ve made so many amazing memories, with my favorites being performing in the gym at I-Days last year and celebrating MECgiving this year. What I love most about MEC is getting to collaborate with such an incredible group of girls while learning about a new culture. Belly dancing isn’t something you get to do everywhere, so it’s really fun figuring it out together with a loving and supportive community!
I’m insanely proud of all the work we put in this season. This team and our choreographer, Rose, have been an absolute joy to work with and hold a special place in my heart! (shoutout Desiree and Anika for being amazing Prez/Co-VP😘) I can’t wait any longer to amaze you all. #whoarewe
