Hey everyone! Now I have had a day or two to let everything sink in! Saturday was a very special day! It’s hard to describe these John Wayne Grit series races! They really need to be experienced! As I have said before this was my 9th race! This was a new venue for me and for the Grit Series but I think this one will stick around for a long time! I say it’s a privilege and a honor! The privilege is that I am fit to do these events! The honor is to be able to use the John Wayne Cancer Foundation as a vehicle to fundraise and rally everyone that I know to support in the efforts to fight cancer! Thanks 🙏 again to everyone that supported me in my efforts!

There’s something incredibly special about getting to photograph the people who have been there for you, and you for them through so many seasons of life. 🤍

Meeting this sweet little one and watching her big bro take on his new role is so fun to watch. Documenting these first quiet moments at home for one of my best friends was such an honor. The soft kisses, little giggles, sleepy snuggles, and all the love filling their home are exactly what lifestyle newborn sessions are all about.

These days go by in the blink of an eye, but the memories don’t have to. Thank you for trusting me with such a beautiful chapter of your story. Welcome to the world, beautiful girl. You are already so deeply loved. ✨

Happy BIRT DAY to my little Bro❤️

Being 10 years apart somehow meant we were destined to be stuck together—and honestly, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. We’ve spent our whole lives hanging out like best friends, making memories that just keep getting better with time.

At my wise old age of 11 in this picture (1981 😂), I was already babysitting you during the week and proudly collecting my $25 paycheck every Friday. Naturally, I’d head straight to the store to buy an Izod shirt and a pair of dolphin shorts—priorities! As you can clearly see, matching Izod shirts were pretty much the official family uniform back in the early ’80s. 😄

Getting to work together all these years later is such a gift. From exploring some of the most beautiful, remote places to sharing unforgettable adventures, it’s something I’ll never take for granted. And the holidays, Sunday fun days, and time spent with both of our families are the moments I treasure most.

I’m so grateful for all the laughs, the adventures, and the lifelong friendship we’ve built. Happy Birthday to the best little brother a big sister could ask for. Here’s to many more miles, memories, and matching shirts… HBD Love you! ❤️🎉

Building a new Grit Series race in Jackson Hole , Wyoming for the John Wayne Cancer Foundation isn’t all finish lines and mountain views. The early stages are filled with nonstop days of planning, permits, course design, networking, sponsorship meetings, community outreach, and countless details that happen long before race day.

Then there’s the course scouting—early mornings, long horseback rides (ouch 😅), and never forgetting to carry bear spray everywhere you go. 🐻😂

Creating something special takes a lot of work behind the scenes, but bringing together an amazing community for a great cause makes every mile, meeting, and sore muscle worth it. Having all three of my adult children home at the same time is something that rarely happens anymore, which is why this visit felt so incredibly special. They came together to celebrate their sister and her husband as they prepare to welcome a little girl into the family, and for a brief moment, everything felt complete again. The house was filled with laughter, old memories, and that familiar rhythm of all of them being under one roof. Watching them gather around their sister—hanging out with her, supporting her, sharing in her excitement—was a kind of joy that’s hard to put into words. As a mom, seeing all my children together like that is something I hold onto deeply.

Michelle, Jenny & Tiffany, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the absolutely beautiful shower you put together for Peyton ( Cat & Joan too) Every detail was so thoughtful, so full of love, and it truly meant more to me than I can even put into words. Seeing everything come together so perfectly to celebrate her and this sweet baby girl on the way was incredibly special.

But more than the decorations or the planning, it was the love behind it all that I’ll never forget. Having friends like you—who show up, who care so deeply, and who go out of their way to make moments like this unforgettable—is such a gift. You made Peyton feel so loved and supported, and as her mom, that means everything to me.🙏🏻

Billy, you always jump right in to entertain the guys , top golf & pool to celebrate Damon soon to be daddy with , Cade, Braeden, Uncle Chris & Damon🙏🏻.

Annnnd as meaningful as those moments are, they always seem to pass too quickly. Before I know it, the suitcases are packed again and it’s time for the drive to the airport. Those goodbyes never get easier. There’s a quiet sadness that comes with watching them head back to their separate lives, knowing it may be a while before we’re all together again. Still, I carry the warmth of that short time with me—the hugs, the laughter, the love we shared—and I’m reminded just how priceless it is, even when it’s fleeting.
