What an honor to be part of HARMONY’s history as a member of the professional regional premiere. This is one of those shows that is a gift to perform. It’s the alchemy of a passionate director, a compassionate team, and an all too resonant story. Thank you to all who were part of bringing HARMONY to life from its years of workshops and development to the Broadway team and producers. I hope this show has a long life and continues to be a conduit for personal reflection. And most of all, thank you to my fellow cast members. It was joyful to find harmony with you. I’ve had an absolute blast working backstage these past few weeks at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival @alabamashakespeare for Beautiful: The Carol King Musical! We had a phenomenal cast and crew that helped foster a wonderful environment at ASF both on and off the stage. Thank you to cast, deck crew, electrics, scenic, paints, props, costumes, lighting, sound, stage management, and everyone else that helped bring this show together—it’s the collaboration of individuals with diverse skills and perspectives that brings the performance arts to life. After all, art always has been and always will be innately human. ❤️ With casting help from @stagecrafts_21, I commemorated the show with a reimagining of the cast as animals! The Shirelles: Hermit Crabs Cynthia: Siberian Tiger Barry: Sphynx Cat Nick: Meerkat Gerry: Common Reed Bunting Betty: River Otter Donnie: Black-Footed Ferret Marylin: Sagebrush Lizard Righteous Brothers: Seahorses Carol: Trumpeter Swan Genie: Grizzly Bear Lucille: Short-Eared Owl Little Eva: Teacup Yorkie Lou Adler: Standard Schnauzer The Drifters: Peacocks (PS: I had no idea there was a limit on the number of people you can tag… 😭 sorry if I missed some) #art #asf #animals #noai

This show- directed by the brilliant @dababadoo ! - and summer have been such a blast, an eventful run to say the least, and I get to close it out by going in as my understudy track of Donny Kirshner (cowering in the shadow of talent that is @dan_fenaughty). Here are some great memories and production shots of this BEAUTIFUL cast and crew (including me and my Righteous Brother @c6edris )- until next time all, you just call out my name ~ You’ve Got A Friend, indeed!
