Courtney not really a complainer, but her facial expressions gone say everything 😆

anyways, pay attention the cues of the sumo squat. a lot of times when i’m correcting sumo squats, it’s typically always some knee cave going on.

the purpose of saying “open the hips up” is to get everything aligned, knees tracking the direction of the feet. i could also say “drive the knees outward” to get the same effect but in this case for courtney, i felt that saying open the hips up would click better, so that’s what i went w and that’s what worked.

different cues, for different folks. and when one doesn’t work, you gotta find a to communicate to the person so that they grasp the concept.
