Silverstone Saturday Recap Part 1! 🏎️🏁

Our Community Hub had a fantastic time speaking to YOU engaging with the younger generation and older about the impactful work we’re doing at Driven By Us. Through the community, we’re creating access to sought-after events such as the British GP for those who typically wouldn’t have the opportunity or access to attend by removing barriers and having a fantastic time with those already working within motorsports.

Thanks to collaborators @topps for keeping us stocked up with the unreleased 2025 Turbo Attax F1 Card, @monsterenergy keeping the team energised with @lando’s latest mix & @redracerbooks for the inspirational F1 STEM books for the next generation!

When it rains at Silverstone, you make the best of the moment! Spending the weekend with @driven.by.us was an amazing experience and it was great to hang out with other community members, share the mission more, and chat to people at the circuit! Until next year 🏎️

A YEAR OF DRIVEN BY US!

Driven By Us is a pioneering community-driven organisation on a mission to empower aspiring leaders from ethnic minorities and underrepresented groups in the automotive & motorsport industry. Recognising the industry’s imperative for diversity and inclusion, we provide mentoring and support in a safe space facilitated by relatable role models across world-leading organisations with first-hand success stories.

As a recognised club by Motorsport UK, our unique platform spans STEM education, media programs, and driver talent identification, delivering a comprehensive impact for the vast array of roles on offer. Anchored by a distinguished advisory board, we strategically position ourselves in the growing global motorsport market to champion diverse talent and drive positive change.

With endorsement from key government figures and strategic partnerships, we employ customer-focused approaches to achieve our goals effectively, ensuring lasting representation for young people from diverse backgrounds within the motorsport community.

Our unique ethnic-led perspective allows us to actively support individuals personally and professionally, offering networking opportunities, expert career advice, and confidence-building initiatives in the competitive motorsport industry.

Last week, Driven By Us attended the Career Fair at Uxbridge High School, represented by DBU members Laila & Carlson.

During the career fair, students were provided with insights and advice pertaining to careers in the industry. Both Laila and Carlson felt privileged to be able to hear and discuss students ambitions and goals with them, and see what the next generation have to offer.

In attendance were Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, represented by Matthew Randall, Head of Software Development and Integration. Students at the school were given the opportunity to take a look at the type of cars they could potentially be working on in the future.

Thank you to Matthew for coming along and to Uxbridge High School for having us. Driven By Us is committed to supporting the next generation of talent.
