POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I've had this post in my drafts for a while, so I figured it was finally time to share 😅

I loved the audiobook of Ourselves and Immortality by @logan.sage.adams so much. Getting a physical copy and art prints was an absolute need!

I preordered Beyond the Hedge Maze by @morganwolffwrites before I even read the ARC, which is something I rarely do. That said, I have zero regrets! This was such a wonderful book, and I'm so excited about all the goodies that came with my order—especially the art by @c_leadraw! 😍

On a whim, I grabbed copies of Find My Way Down to You by @wintersjulian and But I Hate Him by @pagepowars. I haven't read either yet, but I've seen trusted booksta friends rave about both, so I just had to get them.

Lastly, a special shoutout to my bestie @thatgirlchapsreads for 1) reminding me that I'll Believe in Anything was coming out and 2) encouraging me to grab the B&N exclusive edition. I love all the anecdotes and BTS photos!

📖 Slow Brew by D.G. Holloway

Star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

My first time reading D.G. Holloway and wont be my last. I was enticed by the cover and then fell into the story with ease.

Fin stole my heart and clearly he stole Owens. I usually love multiple POVs but it worked for this story that we only got Fin and we got a sneaky POV from Owen right at the end.

I adore this was a HEA but not in the "conventional" sense but in the way that was perfect for the characters. Asexuality is not something I will pretend to be expert on but novels like this that treat their Ace characters with love and respect will help me understand an overlooked or dismissed part of our community.

Something to know about me is I really love book art made by actual people and working with @c_leadraw was kind of a dream come true! I have admired their work as a reader for so long, and when I started writing Stroke Rate they are who I wanted to do my illustrated cover and it all worked out💜
Y’all just look at this magic?! What is this life??? Anyways this lovely cover will be available this weekend on Amazon so everyone will have access to it!

A new to me author. I fell in love with this book. The found family, caretaking and an uncle caring for his niece. ACE representation. 'Not everyone wants sex. Some people want stability and certainly, a best friend to crawl into the arms of every night. God all they want are forehead kisses and quiet moments to see their own adoration reflected back in their partner's eyes. They want to know their thoughts and dreams are safe--cherished-- by their person. Some people only want to finally feel at home'. This meant so much to me. @authordgholloway. QotD: What was your last new to you book?

Hola readers!
I want to share the audacity that was last week of me trying to get Espíritu.
So I preordered the book back when it was announced in 2024 through BAM. No cover yet. I didn't want to wait. There was the delay announcement, but that's ok, I preordered the book, I didn't mind waiting for the author to release the best version the sequel could be.
Fast forward to there's less than a month left. Everyone who also preordered it started getting there's a little early. That's cool! I thought, I can't wait for my copy. Except I wasn't hearing anything about mine.
Ok, let me just call customer service, make sure everything was in order. They saw I preordered it and suggested I wait until the book was released for my order. Ok, so I waited. Day of release! Nothing.
Called customer service and went to the store. They suggested I wait until Friday as the store was also dealing with shipping delays. They had no new books. I even checked to see if Espíritu was on the shelves. It was not. So again, I waited.
It was Saturday, I still heard nothing. Called customer service again, the warehouse cancelled my order on FRIDAY AND the store had no copies of Espíritu still.
I was feeling both annoyed and sad. I wanted to read the sequel to my favorite book from my favorite author. So then my husband suggested BaN. I called the store. They had copies. So I got it and am reading it right now!
Yeah, not sure what the moral of this story is, but I hope you never go through what I went through lol. Now if you don't mind, I have a book to read 😁

🌸 FARBSCHNITT-REVEAL!

New York, Blumen und … Mord. 🔪🌸

🎂 Happy Birthday Rachel Reid 🎂

I was inspired by @julietfoxreads to get out my Rachel stack. Time to Shine was also one of the first ARCs I read and my physical copy arrived today so definitely a sign to stack up.

I have 4 special editions coming for Heated Rivalry and The Long Game once they released but think it's a pretty decent stack. I also have included some of the gorgeous artwork from @hagno.art and @c_leadraw

Rachel is directly responsible for hockey boys taking over my life and I'm not mad about it

Whats your favourite Rachel Reid book? Or is any of her work on your TBR?
