UPDATE: Mommy is feeling much better, compared to earlier. In fact, its storytime Saturday with Daisy. Today, we are going to tell the life story of Murphy, as much as Mommy can remember. After some digging around, Mommy found out Murphy was born on May 6, 1992 (she’ll be 26 this year. Wow!). But before Mommy was born, Murphy was even a mother to nine golden retriever puppies. Other than that, Mommy loved everything about Murphy: her childhood best friend. Every day, Mommy (let’s call her Clair) and her family would always walk Murphy every day to a nearby cow farm (that was when Clair was around 4 or 5 while the neighborhood was still being built). I (Daisy) have a photo of Murphy (age 6) and Clair (age 3) just having some early summertime fun. Murphy loved playing with tennis balls, swimming, and being on the move. She would even let Clair lay her head on her, like a pillow. Murphy was blessed with 11 wonderful, happy years of fun and life. Unfortunately, Murphy’s health began to go downhill when she had a stroke. Luckily she survived, but it left one side of her face paralyzed making it difficult for her to eat. Then one day, God decided it was time to take Murphy to heaven. What a beautiful life story of Murphy. We look forward to the day where we will meet you for the first time. In loving memory of Lady Murphy of Knox (1992-2002).

I can't believe County marked the last meet with my Lady Rebels XC team. It's been an inspiring 4 years of running cross country. I want to thank Coaches Litz, McGill, Ellen, and Hosty for helping me and my teammates get better and for all of them putting up with me for the past season. It's been a blessing to know all of u and I can't wait to cheer u girls and hanging out at meets when I get the chance. I'm going to miss XC at Roncalli so much. ❤️ u all. @cityandkelly I'm sorry I couldn't tag u.
