Reverend Mark Hurley, St Peter and St Paul Church, Swanscombe, Kent

I’m proud to be one of the winners of this years Portrait of Britain 2019 @bjp1854
The picture will be exhibited nationally aswell as be in and new book @hoxtonminipress !
This portrait of Reverend Mark Hurley was taken early this year as part of @areaartarchive arts and local history project created by @siobhanschwartzberg
Mark welcomed us and really engaged with the project. On one of the mornings when the light started to flood into the church I took this quick portrait of him. It became my favourite image of the project and I am so proud that Mark is represented in the Portrait of Britain 2019. Congratulations to all the winners. #portraitofbritain
