25-26 didn't end as expected but it will forever be one of my favorites. I was blessed to be able to get the opportunity to be on 2 teams this year and those 2 teams had some of the best people I have ever met. 💚Forever SAF4L and FOBD💚

The final climb❤️‍🩹

To my girls, thank you for welcoming me and letting me into your family. During this season, I lost my spark. I lost my love for allstars and was ready to be done. But you brought my love back. I’ve genuinely never had so much fun competing with a group of girls before. I may have only been here a month but it felt like a lifetime. It breaks my heart that I didn’t get a little more time with all of you.

To my coaches, thank you for allowing me to compete one more time. And thank you for trusting me with your girls. Yall believed in me more than most coaches ever would and that means the world to me. The confidence each of you had in me made me realize my worth. Which is more than I could’ve asked for in a season, much less a month.

My time as a Savagecat may have been a little shorter than expected but we put our heart and soul into our beautiful 0 and I couldn’t have asked for more. I’ll forever remember and love this team forever💚💚 #SAF #LLA

To my cheerleading career

I truly don’t know how this came so fast! Saying goodbye to what has been my life for the past 13 years competitively and 17 years in general! Never thought this day would come but here it is. The girl who never tried any other sports because I couldn’t stay out of cheer. The girl who started doing cart wheels and forward rolls in the house self taught at just 2 years old. The girl who watched her older cousin do school cheer and couldn’t look away. I wouldn’t change any of these for the world.

A little message to my younger ones that look up to me! Never take anything for granted. I wish I could rewind time and be your age every single day. Just cause you don’t make the level you want don’t ever give up. The harder you work the more you get rewarded for it.

To the ones who think you aren’t good enough! Trust me you are. From not making middle school cheer or high school cheer I can proudly say I am the ONLY ONE out of the schools to have made a worlds team and cheer at the most popular gym in the world. The only one who has competed on the Worlds stage and NCA stage as an athlete. The only one to coach a special needs team at the best gym in the world. You are always good enough! Taking a risk was the greatest decision of my life.

To the ones who think you will never move up or get better. Trust me you will. I spent 5-6 years on a youth 2 team, 1 year on a junior 2, 2 years on a junior 3, 1 year on junior 4, and 1 year on senior 4.2 before I ever made a worlds team. During this I also went through middle school and high school struggles with also having major knee surgery and moving states all during sophomore year. Thinking my cheer career is over when God had a bigger plan. Went through major depression and anxiety because of moving, not making high school cheer, and having knee surgery within months apart. 10 months after knee surgery I got the opportunity to join my dream level and it was the best year of my life. Mental health is important and it’s always ok to get help. God always has a bigger plan and you have to trust him through every struggle.

Getting pulled out a week before her final competition of the season has been one of the hardest things to process. 💔
Although we’ll still be attending Summit, Alizay won’t be on the mat and that’s been devastating for us but seeing her in pain has been the worst.

She was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyolysis (Rhabdo) a serious condition where overworked muscles break down and release proteins into the bloodstream that can harm the kidneys. What we thought was soreness turned into something much more, but thankfully we caught it early and she’s now focused on recovery. 🙏

This has been a hard lesson, but also an important one.

To all athlete parents please make sure your kids are properly hydrated, getting enough electrolytes, and listening to their bodies. This could have been much worse.

Alizay is heartbroken, but she’s strong and we’re so proud of her. She’ll be there supporting the SavageCATs 💚every step of the way. 💙
