Made with Love is a video series that celebrates the way food connects us to the land and to the people who came before us. Each episode follows culinary artist Yannick as he takes simple, natural ingredients grown right on the property and turns them into something unexpected, while still holding on to the traditions we grew up around. The series is less about recipes and more about the intention. Using what the earth gives you, respecting it, and finding new ways to tell old stories through food. Whether it’s something humble like plantain or something pulled straight from the garden, every dish is a reminder that creativity doesn’t mean forgetting the past; it means building on it. At its core, Made with Love is about local roots, quiet craftsmanship, and the idea that the most meaningful things are often made simply with care, patience, and love.

🇲🇶 Lors de la micro-résidence Lorizon, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir des artistes circassiens du Waitu Cirque, qui ont été travaillé en choeur avec les autres artistes pour alimenter leurs récits parfois déjà existants. C’est le cas de Khade Elwin, aidée de N'jelle Gage Thorne et Kharlen Jervier. Belle Âme est une œuvre en construction, nourrie par les autres artistes présents à Caapi à ce moment-là. Un travail de groupe porté par nos différents horizons pour une même interrogation, à plusieurs voix. 🇩🇲🇱🇨 During the Lorizon micro-residency, we had the privilege of welcoming circus artists from Waitu Cirque, who worked collectively with the other artists to enrich narratives that were, at times, already in progress. This was the case for Khade Elwin, with visual support from Kharlen Jervier. Movement quality heavily influenced by Njelle Gage Thorne and contributions of the other artists. Belle Âme is a work in progress, shaped by the presence and contributions of the other artists at Caapi during that time. It is a collective endeavor, carried by our different horizons, engaging with a shared question expressed through multiple voices. 📝 Traduction du texte de Khade Elwin : “Belle Âme est un folklore vivant, non seulement raconté dans des histoires, mais inscrit dans les corps et les mouvements. Elle est un esprit du devenir, elle marche entre la nuit et la mémoire. Elle apparaît dans des moments de calme comme de bouleversement, visitant et habitant celles et ceux en quête d’inspiration, réveillant un savoir ancestral profondément ancré dans le corps. À travers le mouvement et le rythme, elle relie le passé et le futur, faisant émerger ce qui t’a toujours appartenu. Face à la stagnation, elle surgit pour troubler, pour secouer, pour te rappeler à toi-même, pour faire émerger le meilleur de toi. Non pas pour hanter, mais pour révéler. Belle Âme n’est pas là pour t’effrayer. 🇲🇶 Décoloniser l'imaginaire, ça ressemble à quoi concrètement ? Lorizon, c'est la 3e micro-résidence du projet An Ba Lanmè et elle a tout remis en jeu : la mémoire, le temps, l'imaginaire caribéen. Comment raconter autrement ? Comment créer des mondes où l'on choisit sa propre histoire ? Écriture spéculative, performance, mouvement, fiction. Les corps et les voix ont travaillé ensemble pour imaginer d'autres récits possibles. Le marronnage aujourd'hui, c'est peut-être ça : s'échapper par l'imaginaire. 🇩🇲🇱🇨 What does decolonizing the imagination actually look like? Lorizon is the 3rd micro-residency of the An Ba Lanmè project and it shook everything up: memory, time, Caribbean imagination. How do we tell new stories? How do we build worlds where we get to choose our own history? Speculative writing, performance, movement, fiction. Bodies and voices working together to imagine other possible futures. 🇲🇶 Entre la Dominique et la Martinique, le créole n’a pas le même statut : patois pour certains, langue légitime et revendiquée pour d’autres. La transmission a été coupée, mais les jeunes essaient, malgré les difficultés. Chez les Kalinagos de Dominique, le créole est parlé, tandis que la langue propre s’est tue. Qu'est est le sens de Caribéen·ne pour nous ? Une langue à défendre ? Une mémoire fragmentée ? Une réappropriation en cours ? 🌊 🇩🇲🇱🇨 Between Dominica and Martinique, Creole holds different status: seen as a patois in some places, claimed as a full language in others. Transmission was broken, yet younger generations keep trying. Among Kalinagos in Dominica, Creole remains, while their own language is fading. What does Caribbean mean to us? A language to reclaim? A fractured memory? An ongoing struggle?

🇲🇶 Et si le langage allait au-delà des mots ? Douvan Jou, première résidence du projet An Ba Lanmè, invite à penser le langage comme un espace de résistance, de transmission et de liberté. Langues, gestes, corps, images, silences : des formes qui portent une mémoire collective souvent invisibilisée. La mer, réservoir de récits et de traversées, relie passé, présent et devenir. Les artistes explorent ces langages sensibles, ancrés dans la mémoire caribéenne. 🌊 🇱🇨🇩🇲 What if language went beyond words? Douvan Jou, the first residency of An Ba Lanmè, explores language as a space of resistance, transmission, and freedom. Languages, gestures, bodies, images, silences — shared forms carrying collective memory. The sea, a reservoir of crossings and stories, connects past, present, and future. Artists explore these sensitive languages rooted in Caribbean memory.
