Pilgrimming from Southern Maine is Brogan “Boogles” Fernald. As we have learned, there are three types of people in this world: the wolf, the sheep, and the sheepdog. This bro is definitely a sheep dog. Brogan is the defender of the small bros at selection. This bro is most known for his epic duel against our 3 seat #️⃣mediummeatpete where he protected the privacy of another bro. We quote him: “I don’t know how they do it in Cali but we don’t take this shit lightly up in Maine” #️⃣chills. Somehow this bro lost his carry on luggage on the plane and is left to explore Bulgaria with 2 pairs of underwear and 1 sock #️⃣whywasthereone? #️⃣howdeoesthatevenhappen #️⃣coachjamesilostmybag.
When not rowing, find this bro climbing rocks, texting the Maine huzz #️⃣shygay, or watching sigma boy motivation reels on instagram. Boogles looks like he could kill you, but is actually a sweet baby bear. He could probably still kill you though because we don’t know how they do it up in Maine #️⃣boonies. This Bro(gan) will do anything to keep the boat equilibrium #️⃣lethermove. If he senses even the slightest tip to one side, he yells “RELAX” and “STAY CALM” at the rest of the boat. We can confirm that these calls- in fact- do not soothe everyone in the boat. It’s a chain reaction #️⃣chemistry. Catch Boogles out of uniform at the start line because he lost his uni on the plane. National championship was Litty. It was great seeing you all. I haven’t had this much fun in quite some time. I love close races especially with muh amigos. 2K coming soon, let me know if you’re going to selection development camp. Congratulations to Graham and KAYDEN. Never give up always persist.

What an incredible week. 5 2ks in 6 days, several days of travel and amazing memories the whole day.

I’m so blessed to have such amazing competition for Nationals and u19 Worlds Trials. Congrats to @simeonjohnrowing for the win at youth, it’s always an honor racing you (or rather behind you lol). @porterdcollins I’m super excited to see you represent the USA in the single at u19 Worlds.

This week was an incredible reminder of why I row, even if I don’t do as well I hope, I row because I love it and to glorify God with my rowing.

As always;
