We spent the afternoon together at LMU watching our beautiful and talented niece, Jessie, in her last ballet folklorico performance @lmudance. It was a wonderful event and all the dancers were amazing. Family time is special time. @jessiehernandezdance

Such a special day with family, friends and neighbors. Our family gathered for the first time in a while to celebrate Papa’s first heavenly birthday and to honor our parents by decorating their house for Flag Day. Like our parents we cheered all the wonderful participants in the sweet annual Anaheim Flag Day Parade. An extra treat was listening to Sean sing a few songs at the celebration. Missing Papa and Mama, but feeling blessed to have my amazing siblings, family & friends.

Looking forward to another Anaheim Flag Day Parade and Celebration. It will be one of our last firsts of this emotional roller coaster of a year. We are decorating this year in honor of our beloved Papa and Mama. This Sunday’s flag day celebration falls on Papa’s Birthday and all the Sibs are in town. The best gift we could give to dad and mom, and each other, is time together. Sweet days in downtown. Long caption alert so bear with me!

What a wild crazy ride these last four years have been! Who would have thought that going to school in the middle of a global pandemic, moving across the country and studying dance would be the best decision I could have made for myself. I have always wanted to be a dancer and to be able to study what I love is a privilege and an accomplishment that I am beyond humbled to have achieved. I remember when my friends would ask me what I wanted to study after high school I would always say I wanted to dance. I guess I am officially a dancer now, ha.

This past weekend I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in contemporary dance performance. It has been a journey, starting back at Fullerton College in 2018 (I am proud of my roots), and finally concluding here in Boston. Or I guess the journey is just really beginning.

I am beyond grateful to my family and friends who have supported me through this incredible milestone and have believed in me through it all. I am grateful to my teachers who have selflessly shared their love and knowledge and have inspired me to keep going. Little did I know that moving to Boston would change me in all the ways that it has. I am incredibly proud to have learned and grown besides my classmates who have pushed me and inspired me day in and day out. You all have taught me what it means to be in community and how beautiful it is to get to do what you love with the people you love.

Forever grateful for this moment in time and these people who have been on this journey with me. So full of love!!

Anaheim Halloween Kiddie Parade from the vaults. Tradition for our family and friends to march thru downtown Anaheim with all the other kids and celebrate Halloween with our community. Looking forward to the @anaheimhalloweenparade 100th Anniversary. 🎃 Papa & Mama’s favorite time of year!

PS: I’m (Robbie) the wooden soldier drummer, Tony Immediately behind me, Jackie back left and Suzie is the wind up doll. Also marching with us are Jeff & Michelle Hausmann. 😊

Huge thank you to Mary and Jeff Werbalowsky for hosting a fabulous birthday bash for me with the most beautiful people (wish I had pics of everyone!) with all donations to help Bastian, an adorable 2 yo boy whose dad plays in this amazing band - Mala Rumba- get his much needed heart surgery. You all made my birthday one to always remember and my heart sing! Thanks so much to all for the donations, your presence and the shared love🥰. Mary, you are the Hostess Most Extraordinaire and I’m forever grateful! The world needs more people like you - all of you! P. S. Fred, so happy to share birthdays and thanks for the pics!
