POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The best adventures begin with a coincidence you never saw coming.

Von and I spent the morning driving around, looking for places to shoot.

Just a camera, good conversation, and a willingness to see where the day took us.

We stopped into K. Ellis Photo, and there was Cabralism.

We’d talked about his work before, admired his perspective, but never expected to run into him that day.

A quick conversation turned into an invitation.

“Come shoot with us.”

And just like that, three photographers who started the day as strangers or acquaintances were exploring, creating, and sharing ideas together.

It’s funny how life works.

Sometimes all it takes is dap, hug, or simple “what you on today?”

I don’t remember every conversation we had that day.

I remember the laughter and deep level of understanding.

The willingness to create with people who simply love the craft.

Those are the moments that stay with you.

Here’s to the people who say yes to the adventure.

Love you @cabralism

Thanks again to @the.angelmercedes and @siahlaw_ for pulling up to “The WRITE Vibe” this past Thursday. They played some unreleased music, and a joint they felt people slept on. Then they broke down their style of writing, where the concepts and inspiration came from, followed by a Q&A from the audience, asking questions of their own.

This is how we rebuild not only the Rap community, but communities in general. Safe spaces to listen and speak. We need this in a time of uncertainty, danger, and confusion. Lyrics matter. Artist pour their hearts and souls into the lines they craft to convey a message, or express an emotion. At “The WRITE Vibe” we honor and celebrate that by exploring those avenues of an artist in an intimate setting with individuals who care to listen, and brave to ask the questions that matter.
Now that….. The WRITE Vibe ✍🏽

Thank you to the wonder establishment and staff of @publicnotprivate for allowing me to host such a unique event providing a different experience for the lovers of lyrics and song writing.

“The WRITE Vibe”
Every 1st Thursday of the month
at Public Shop & Gallery
7-10pm / All Ages / $5-$20 Donations

Up Next:

I have ZERO idea of who sent this to me but it’s a great shot. I am pretty sure this is in Boston.
