Hey everybody, take time to read please:
I am one who struggles daily with depression and anxiety.I was insprired to tell my story from my brave and strong sister.

Ill start by saying depression is no joke. There are many people who struggle behind the scenes like I did for so long. Im done hiding behind a fake smile to get myself through a day, I’m sharing my story. It has gotten so difficult to a point where life didn’t seem like it was the right choice. So many people were there to drag me out of that hole and lift me up. Times haven’t gotten easier but I have learned and am still learning(and that is okay!). In the beggining i was only able to ask for help from people I barely knew but was to afraid to ask for help from my friends and family. I got no help. About two years ago I told my friends and family that i needed help and they gave me nothing but love and open arms. I still
battle daily against my own depression and anxiety. Im here to tell you that it is okay to not be okay. You are still here which means you are winning. Im glad that I am still here and am able
to talk to my mom and dad and live out my dream of hockey. Times dont get easier, you get stronger. Thank you for reading and thank you to everyone who has helped and supported me. ❤️Love you
