SFC CLUTCH PLAY OF WEEK 7. WE HAVE A WINNER!

Congrats to Cadel Barilford (#3) of Seton Hall Prep! After falling into an early 14-3 hole against a powerhouse St. Joseph Regional team, Barilford fielded a kickoff and exploded through a seam for an electric 95-yard touchdown return. The play instantly silenced the opposing crowd, flipped the momentum, and ignited a spectacular run of 28 unanswered points for the Pirates’ upset win.

Physical plays get the highlights, but mentally clutch plays win games. Barilford showed exactly what it means to deliver when his team needed an answer most.

Clutch (mindset): when an athlete demonstrates their skills despite the obvious presence of pressure. You train the body. What about the mind?

Watch the play that flipped the game.

Huge shoutout to Cadel and the entire Seton Hall Prep program.

SFC CLUTCH PLAY OF WEEK 7 IS HERE!

Four incredible plays, one vote to decide the best.

Old Tappan’s Zach Miceli scrambled out of a collapsing pocket with under 90 seconds left, connecting with Crosby Levine on a 33-yard game-winning touchdown to secure a dramatic 30-24 win over Northern Highlands.

Seton Hall Prep’s Cadel Barilford fielded a kickoff down 14-3 and exploded through a seam for a 95-yard touchdown return, flipping the momentum and igniting a 28-unanswered-point upset win over St. Joseph Regional.

West Essex’s defensive line and Anthony Conforti stonewalled West Morris on a 4th-and-1 at their own 11-yard line with 28 seconds left, forcing a game-ending turnover on downs to seal a 19-16 win.

East Orange’s Zachary Concepcion fired a 17-yard strike to Je’zi Lewis on 3rd-and-long in overtime, breaking Irvington’s defense and setting up the game-winning touchdown moments later.

Which play was the most clutch? Flashy plays get the highlights. Mentally clutch plays win games
