My school semester is almost over at 上智大学

Youth Nationals 25’

Overall really good season this year with a lot of improvement and lots of fun trips and comps. Definitely not the nationals performance I was hoping for or expecting this year. It’s hard having the season end this way with all the training I done this year and not really preforming to my potential at Nats. Despite the disappointment still psyched for next year and the rest of the open season.

Lead Vice National Champion🥈🇺🇸

You might think i’m surprised by this result, or that I can’t believe I really got 2nd at nationals. But honestly, I’m not. This past year I dedicated my life to achieving this goal. Early morning and late night training, double sessions, and driving 3+ hours to gyms to get quality training is just the tip of the iceburg. Whether it was Boulder or Lead I didn’t care, but I knew this result was inevitable with the work I put it. The balance of composure and fight was culminated in the final round as I clipped the final draw, something I had visualized so often.

The boulder rounds at this comp allowed me to express my strengths, but also exposed my weaknesses. I look forward to working harder in that discipline.

For the next 4 weeks I’m fully focused on preparing for the Youth World Championships in Helsinki, Finland🇫🇮

Congratulations to @_brycenix @wesley.y3 @nathanielperullo @declanosgood and @auggiechi for your performances this week, you guys inspire me to be stronger.

Thank you to my parents, coach, and all of d6 for supporting me. Big thanks to @darrell.setyadi for being my training partner, this wouldn’t be possible without you.

I can’t wait to represent Team USA, I’ll see you in Finland😈👋🏻🇫🇮

Bouldering NACS + Lead Regionals and Divisionals

Had a great time traveling and competing in Montreal and Vail for bouldering NACS this year. Lots of fun climbs for both NACS and lead, and had some solid rounds, but definitely room for improvement. Super psyched for youth Nats➡️

Stoked to be sending the 4 OG’s to the Youth National Championship in Oregon in a few weeks - 3 for lead, 4 for bouldering
