POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who joined us last night to celebrate the premiere of For The Love Of Gold.

This project was born from the mind of our fearless Writer/Director Scott Kunesch. Shot across 42 days, mainly on weekends and whenever we could rally the troops and with an almost entirely volunteer crew, it truly became a creative labour of love (sometimes more labour than love).

There are hundreds of people to thank, but especially our incredible crew - Cade, Colby, Jacqui, Rob, Xavier, Kaden, Fadi, Andrew, Tristan, Stephanie and Jackson. This film wouldn’t be what it is without your dedication and passion.

More information is coming soon about additional screenings and places to watch the film, so make sure you follow along for updates.

We started CoinToss to create opportunities for the incredible talent we have here in WA, and to share our stories with you. For The Love Of Gold marks only the beginning of many more to come.

Now join us and see what happens when you put it all on a CoinToss 🪙✨

When best mates Jack and Franklin strike gold in the hills, they reckon their problems are over. If it wasn't for the chain of events that followed, they might have been right. A tale of friendship, love and the one thing most important of all... gold!

3-HOUR DRIVE FOR 30 SECONDS OF FOOTAGE

Insane winds, blinding sun, salt burning our skin all for ONE SHOT.

This is filmmaking.
Passion, chaos, grit, madness
We’re For the Love of Gold
and we’ll do whatever it takes.

Behind-the-scenes of indie film life
This is just the beginning…

Behind every epic shot is someone like @cadenieves

Always the first one to help with bump in 🚚

And the last one still packing up at bump out 🧳

Need lights moved?

He’s already on it 💪

Need a lift?

Cade’s got you 🚗

Need a hand with literally anything?

He’s there before you even ask

He’s part of the gaffer team ⚡️

But honestly, he’s part of every team 🫶

Positive. Reliable. Bloody hardworking.

We just wanna shine a big ol’ spotlight on one of our quiet heroes

Appreciate you lots and lots, Cade 💛

Think making a movie is all glitz and glamour?

Try lugging heavy gear in 40-degree heat, running a kilometer of cable in the dark, or sitting by the generator by yourself in the freezing cold, praying she doesn't die mid-take.

Huge respect to the unsung heroes of For The Love Of Gold.

Every single role – from the crafty, to grips, to production design – these behind the scenes legends help this madness come together smoothly
