Drawing collabs with friends! These lovely people graciously humored my pleas to draw on top of some little watercolors I made for various long-time-ago projects… I love the weirdness and the surprise of a pass-it-on kind of project. I also love that it requires a bit of bravery, you know, to add something to someone else’s artwork… but look what we made! Aren’t these drawings cool!? I’m proud of us and grateful 🥹❤️

Tap the images to see who worked on what. I tried to keep track…

I think most of these characters are imaginary, and some may have been inspired by Ultraman, but at the end, that’s a little drawing of me and my very real messy bun! 🤗

✨Experience art in the making at the MOD Gala! ✨ This year’s event features a one-of-a-kind Artist Table where some of Hawaiʻi’s most beloved local artists will be creating live, original works on wood panels. Each piece is just $100—and yes, you can even make a brief request what you’d like to see them paint.

Don’t miss this chance to take home a piece of the evening—and support Hawaiʻi’s art and culture community. All proceeds support the Friends of Capitol Modern (The Hawaiʻi State Art Museum), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

🎟️ Tickets are still available—visit the link in our bio to reserve your spot or table! Sponsorship opportunities are also available. This is a 21 & over event.
📅 Saturday, May 3rd, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

My pal @caderoster made this for me on my birthday!

Chances are you’re already following him, but if periodic hand-crafted curios and local flora are your thing, give him a visit!
