What a weekend under the stars ✨🌕🔥

Still soaking in the magic from @building.man.festival over Beltane and the Full Moon. There’s something incredibly powerful about gathering in community during a portal of fire, transformation, creativity, and connection — and this one truly delivered.

From the art, music, and immersive experiences to the beautiful humans we crossed paths with, every moment felt intentional and alive. Huge gratitude to everyone who helped create such a vibrant container for expression, healing, dance, and play.

Once upon a time, I escaped to Ibiza, instead of enduring the Season of Hollow Soul...

Right after losing the love of my life
and walking away from the club I’d help build over three years.

I came back to San Francisco and went straight into Decompression.

My best friend Mike Perry @delayedagain looked at me and said, “You need this.”

He and about 50 others had built a community called ShadyVil ⛺️

I hit the Playa running…
and quickly realized it was my favorite place on the planet.

Over time, I watched something powerful unfold there; not just in me, but in everyone around me.

Transformation.
Radical transformation.

Four years later, in 2012, I witnessed the early spark of something else; a small art car called @_mayanwarrior_

Not the icon you see today.
Back then it was raw. Intimate. Undefined.

Ask Mike, he was the first to DJ on it.

Fast forward to this past Saturday…

I stepped onto that beautiful beast in Treasure Island.

Full circle doesn’t even begin to cover it.

What a gift to be surrounded by such an incredible community. 💫 Always showing up for each other through the ebbs and flows, holding space with passion, purpose, and so much creativity. This chosen family is pure magic. ✨

So many loved ones not pictured but still deeply part of the energy here. And @jasonclaytonsound filling the air with his beautiful music was the sweetest blessing. 🎶❤️ So much love to all 🫶🏼
