5 years ago this evening. I am forever blessed for having each of you in my life and for being there when I needed you all most. Thank you will never be enough. I am doing my best to make what you all did worth it. Truly special people still doing remarkable things for others.❤️

Cael and I picked up his 5 bearded Gould’s, that he killed near Yecora, Sonora with Jorge Monteverde and Wade Lemon Hunting back in 2024, from Beards Only Taxidermy in TN yesterday. Outstanding taxidermy work did this giant Mexican gobbler well. The lighting on the mount makes the tail tips and saddle look buff but it’s white just like the pic. A lot memory for the both us in this one bird. #coburncalls #getoutside #be@one

Spent the last week in the land of the Maya. I have had a goal for the last 25 years to complete a World Slam of Turkeys. My son wanted to shoot an ocellated turkey since he was six. Hunting with friends Dan and Sam Walkup, we made the trek to the Yucatán. Outstanding time, Cael, Dan and Sam all completed their slams. I missed twice, which is something I haven’t been known to do over the last 40 springs but it didn’t detract from the memories made and just added to them. Great hosts, great history of the place we hunted and the area, the food couldn’t have been better nor the company. Love making memories with my son and am glad we have been able to share a love for chasing turkeys. Can’t wait to make memories!!

Come out and hear from me, my son Cael and Keaton Rhinehart as we discuss the trip we took last spring chasing Gould’s turkeys in the mountains of Mexico. Then I’ll discuss chasing Rio’s, Merriam’s, Osceola’s, Easterns and Ocellated turkeys and what the future holds based on the last 25 years of my travels. If you have any interest in taking any of the subspecies, chasing a slam or just enjoy turkey hunting stories, come enjoy the evening with us. Please message me if you’re serious about coming.

If you know where these two signs are at you will know that most direct backpacking distance is 46 miles, if you add in the fact you can deviate to see more of this place and add 4 more miles passed the Rock Harbor sign, you can get easily get almost 60 miles in like we did. Off the grid in the wilderness for a week at a place that is only accessed by a ferry or float plane (We prefer the plane), it’s the least visited but most revisited park you can go see. I’ve seen it now 13 times and will go back again. #wilderness #gregorypacks #salewa #livealifeyoulove

Year 2 did not disappoint. Could not be more PROUD of a group of guys for maintaining, exceeding, and setting the new expectation. S/O to my wifey @lexii_jansen for supporting me through it all!!
