Culture is taught as if it were stagnant. Stories are considered history only if set deep in the past. But we see change happening everyday: our wins, losses, achievements and traumas all contribute to our growing history. With Filipino-American History Month ahead of us, we celebrate all the ways we’ve evolved and changed, embracing how our experiences contribute to and shape our Filipino-American story today.

This month, Niana is STUCK IN MOTION. In addition to all the food, events, and excitement that comes with FAHM, we’re doing a bit of reflection. What makes us feel stagnant? Who encourages us to grow? What keeps us in motion despite the pits that keep us stuck? History teaches us that change comes in many forms, how we move through it is the most important part.

Speaking of events and excitement, we’ll be popping up this Saturday at @filipinoislandfestalameda along side our friends @pmaccay (peep the dope hat and chrome accessories featured here)! Come check out our collection of 3D Printed Barong Franciscos (limited stock!) and Niana Terno sets and Pmaccay’s collection of handmade jewelry and accessories 🖤 See the event link in the bio for info and tickets!

one of our favorite things about vending is getting to introduce Niana to new faces while also reconnecting with familiar friends and sharing what we’ve been working on.

it’s been a big year for us at this halfway point of 2026, and Good Times was such a fun reminder of the infectious energy the Bay Area dance community, and everyone who traveled in from beyond, brings. getting to share our designs and ideas with all of you is always something we don’t take for granted.

like we strive for at Niana, Good Times is a reflection of what community can look like. people showing up for each other, connecting through the everyday stories we all share, and bringing the kind of creativity and curiosity that keeps pushing things forward ❤️‍🔥

thank you to everyone who stopped by and picked something up from our booth, which we were lucky to share with our very near and dear friends in @commonthread 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽

if you didn’t get a chance to see us this past weekend, everything we had on display will be available tomorrow with our Everyday Summer drop at nianacollection.com

Take the artists out of the city but you can never take the city out of the artists

The regular season is almost over and while I love being a coach of the best male dance team in the NBA, I love being a choreographer as well. Finally got the chance to debut our new Bruno Mars routine.
