Two of our favourite Design Surgery clients in Glasgow have been working tirelessly to bring their dream kitchen to life, and the results are looking rather spectacular!

What began as an initial virtual design consultation has grown into a wonderful long-distance design relationship, and it’s been such a pleasure watching their home take shape.

Rich walnut and oak detailing, beautifully understated matt quartz worktops and a mix of antique brass handles give the kitchen a wonderfully warm and sophisticated finish.

A real labour of love, and one we’re delighted to have been part of.

Finished! A few months ago we shared this one mid-build. Here’s how it turned out 🎞️

Solid oak joinery made in our Leicestershire workshop, with aged brass detailing, woven leather door inserts and a @caesarstone_uk quartz worktop. Underfoot, heat-treated oak flooring imported directly from @mardeganlegno in Italy runs throughout.

Wooden House, Trebetherick, designed by @kastarchitects

The joinery throughout the house was made to order by our team and fitted as one continuous project: kitchen, utility, boot room, entrance lobby, office, media unit, stairway units and stair cladding, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dressing room.

The doors are 22mm crown cut European oak veneer with a 5mm edging, book matched so the grain flows from one door to the next. Veneering lets a single oak log cover many times the surface that sawn boards would, making far better use of the timber, and gives a stable door that holds its shape through the seasons. Everything is finished in a low VOC water based lacquer at a 3% matt sheen, consistent from the kitchen to the last wardrobe upstairs.

Inside, every drawer is a dovetailed oak box rated to 40kg or 70kg, hung on Blum Clip top Blumotion soft close hinges in onyx, with lots of different handle profiles and panelling.

🏠 The Rebuck Reno Diaries | The Kitchen Reveal! 🛠️

For the first time in months, there’s actually MORE house than the week before!

The rear extension is finally up, the electrics are going in and we’re starting to see the home we’ve been imagining for nearly two years.

But the most exciting bit? We can finally share our kitchen plans! 😍

We’re so excited to be working with some amazing brands to bring our dream kitchen to life:

Still a long way to go, but it’s all starting to feel real.
What do we think of the kitchen? 👀

Can’t wait to start showing you interiors 🫡

A modern balance of natural warmth and clean lines. ✨

This completed project in Worcester Park pairs the warmth of Como Oak with the clean, contemporary finish of Easytouch White.

Architectural detailing, with the beams beautifully enclosed in Como Oak, ties the entire design together, creating a seamless balance between natural textures and modern simplicity.

Understated, elegant and designed for everyday living

Welcome to the North Berwick project.

Following the journey from the initial sketches and renders, Michael takes us inside this newly installed kitchen.

Designed around the way the space would be used, the kitchen brings together bespoke cabinetry, a statement @lacancheuk Chemin range, a bespoke overmantel, considered storage and carefully selected materials and finishes.

From the larger design features to the smaller details, everything has been brought together to create a cohesive and practical space.

Take a look inside and see some of the features that make this kitchen unique.
