I grew up in Provence, between lavender fields and wild poppies. 🌞

I love sunshine, watermelon and lemons, the scent of rosemary at dusk, the deep blue of Marseille’s sea, and the sacred silence beneath Notre-Dame’s ceiling. I love the song of cicadas at night and the whisper of fountains during long summer days. 🍋🩵

I love @jacquemus stripes, the hills and springs of Marcel Pagnol, Cézanne’s sunsets, and Van Gogh’s windblown afternoons.

🎨 My artist name is Caesiliae ~ I pronounce it Cecilia-ey or Céciliaé in French ~ but you can call me Caes’ if you can’t member how to spell it 😉 it comes from my second name which means blind in Latin (because ‘one can only see rightly with the heart’ ~ A. S-E. ❤️)

🎨 I am French, 35 years old and I live in the vibrant and green city of Berlin, Germany

🎨 I am the proud mama of a lovely curious and vivid 4,5 months old baby boy, the sister of two brave and talented women and the aunt of an amazing cute little 2 years old girl

🎨 I speak French, English, Spanish and although I should be fluent by now I am still on and off with learning German 😅

🎨 I grew up in Paris and in Aix-en-Provence among lavender, poppies and olive tree fields near turquoise Mediterranean Sea (sorry for the cliché 😄)

🎨 I painted my first oil painting which was guess what… a sunset on the sea, at the age of 9 with my dad and my godfather. Fun fact, my godmother is also a painter and admire her since my early childhood 👩‍🎨

🎨 Painting has been my best therapy when I lost my mother exactly 10 years ago. She was a landscape architect passionate about mountains and her love for nature inspires my work ❤️

🎨 I dedicate my paintings to resilience, faith in life and courage. It is a powerful healing tool of connexion to myself and to the world

🎨 I am greatly inspired by Turner, Monet and the lakes of Klimt. My imaginary landscapes come from my dreams and memories

🎨 I wish with my radiant work to illuminate and touch others with a sense of freedom, vitality and awe, even if it’s a little bit for a little while…

🎨 My paintings are collected worldwide by amazing collectors. You can find them in private and public collections in France, the US, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, Japan… and I even got requests from Qatar and South Korea 🙏😍 You can check their testimonials and photos ! (link in bio)
